The latest news.

Hi Folks,
Well despite the serious weather we have been having here it has given me the opportunity to beaver away indoors.
The past two months have been quite busy.

Last month I was short-listed in the Evolver magazine's annual contest to provide a design for a front cover of the magazine, which involved submitting a number of manipulated images. Have a look at 'Pool' and you'll see my submission which was one of the finalists published in this month's edition and exhibited at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton.
As you know I was also selected to exhibit at Sherborne House's Open 07 exhibition -themed Margins. The piece I assembled was 1700x2300mm and took me several weeks to print, mount, frame and install at the gallery. We had the private view on the evening of 13th last and the gallery was packed. My piece was given it's own wall, see 'Mud Installation.' At the exhibition I also promoted a new hand-bound book of 'Mud' that I'm working on.
Eyestorm Gallery in Exeter also expressed interest in a new angle I have been taking and so the other day I drove down there and delivered four newly framed pieces which are 'Train,' 'Station,' 'Azenhas do Mar' and 'Street.'
I'm currently working on some other new directions too, which I'll keep you updated on, as and when.
Hope you are all keeping well and look forward to hearing any news. Portuguese friends - I should be out there at end August/ beginning September, so look forward to seeing you.
